A Hong Kong is a businessman and philanthropist, he is one of the richest in Asia. As of 2015, Li Ka-shing has a net worth of US $ 33.5 billion. Born to poor parents in mainland China, he lost his father at the young end, this led to him having to start work at the age of 15. He first worked in a plastics trading company. After gaining valuable experience working in the plastics industry, Li Ka Shing may establish their own business, named Cheung Kong plastics company in year 1950.




He has a wide network of business partners. He has used these networks to obtain loans from the financial capital of its partners to buy its first factory in 1958. Over the following years he changed the company's focus on plastic he eventually turned into a real estate development and management company. Business is booming in recent years and the company is renamed Cheung Kong Holdings. It was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

He developed his business by taking over the Hutchison Whampoa of HSBC in 1979. It added that the various industries with its existing business.

He runs an investment in container port facilities around the world, including in Hong Kong, Canada, China, United Kingdom, Rotterdam, Panama, Bahamas and many others. This shows he can expand his business to countries outside of the country he has a good network of partners.

He has been involved in various business sectors such as real estate, ports, electricity, telecommunications and the Internet.



Finally, Li Ka Shing cleverly uses its network to expand its business abroad. This could prove an entrepreneur must possess a series of running a business in this market. Although one of the richest individuals in the world, he is known for being simple to practice a frugal lifestyle.
